Four recent passport-sized photos of the applicant
2. A letter of guardianship
Additional required documents for applicants under 18 years old.
*3. Photocopy of valid passport
A copy of passport or other identification with name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
*4. A copy of your HSK-5 Report
If you are applying to degree programs in Chinese.
*5. Master's degree diploma
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
*6. Postgraduate school transcript
Academic transcript in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
*7. Two letters of recommendation
Two letters of recommendation from the applicant's professors.
8. A copy of guardian’s passport or ID
Additional required documents for applicants under 18 years old.
*9. A Personal Statement
Personal Statement with the applicant's signature, written in Chinese or in English.
*10. A Research Proposal
1500 words for PhD applicants.
*11. A copy of master’s thesis or other publications
PhD applicants only.
Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit. - How to Apply
